LOINC is an international standard for representing laboratory tests, clinical measurements, clinical notes, and more. This introductory session will cover the history and scope of LOINC as well as an overview of its global use. We will also discuss basic principles related to choosing the correct LOINC term, requesting new terms, and publishing and maintaining vendor-specific LOINC catalogue. The webinar is organised by MedTech Europe. It is primarily for an audience of the European medtech industry, with other interested parties welcome. It will be in English.
